Spaniards are known as an open and warm people. Prices of clothes, food and drinks as well as road and property taxes are often lower than in your country. Ideal to have your dream house or holiday home there. Right? Sure, but sometimes things go wrong. This is more likely when you don’t know the area, people and construction well. For example, the so-called authentic Spanish village is rather quiet in winter. The sunny terrace as shown on the building plans is in the shade. The bed barely fits in the bedroom. Surely you would have expected more compatriots in the neighbourhood. Those planned facilities are not there. And that was just not told at the time of purchase!
